TTSO TV: The Black Cab Sessions

Navegando en la red me he encontrado con las sesiones del taxi negro, que son básicamente presentaciones de diversos actos de la escena indie/experimental/alternativoide en un taxi que recorre las calles de Londres.

Algunas bandas simplemente realizan una versión acústica de algún sencillo, pero otras digamos que dan el extra y nos presentan una versión con el toque peculiar y único que una presentación en un taxi londinense le puede dar.

Estas emisiones llevan ya 49 capítulos y siempre son introducidas por el cab driver en cuestión (usually a very British gentlemen with crooked teeth) y han pasado por ahí bandas y artistas como Death Cab for Cutie, My Morning Jacket, Man Man, St. Vincent (con una íntima versión eléctrica de "Dig a Pony"), Lykke Li (I'm head over heels for her), Raveonettes (our contemporary Roxette), The New Pornographers, Daniel Johnston, Okkervil River, The National y un largo etcétera.

Aquí les dejo "Touch Me I'm Going to Scream Part 2" de My Morning Jacket (if anyone can tell me what is that gadget they're using and where can I get one, please let me know!!!), a Man Man con "Doo Right" del gran Rabbit Habits y a St. Vincent con "Dig a Pony".
