EMO EL QUE LO LEA!

Before AFI, My Chemical Romance, Panic At The Disco, and the rest of all that crap I could keep on naming forever, being related to emo in any way wasn’t as bad as nowadays, not like Mexico, anyway.

A couple of days ago, buncha metal heads, goths and average Queretaro residents planned and explicitly manifested their opinion regarding the growing proliferation of “emo” hangout spots throughout Mexico’s greatest cities. Watch the video for more details on that case. Right after this happened, The M.A.E. (Anti-Emo Movement) gained enough strength to start organizing more emo-hunts in the following weeks.

Ya no sé en Guadalajara, pero en el DF los emo se juntan en el metro Insurgentes y a montones todos los viernes. Estaría muy bien documentar las siguientes disputas, porque son un hecho.

I still don’t know what to think about this, however, because the movement is not persuading anybody to harm girls and itself is some sort of sub-cultural statement, umm… Not to be rude or anything, but I guess I don’t mind having less faux homo shit heads denigrating the well written history of rock music.
